We are passionate about eliminating harm in healthcare. We consider it a personal and professional calling to contribute to changing the culture of the healthcare industry. We are privileged to advise, guide, and contribute to the important work of the organizations we serve.
The HPI team includes individuals from a unique blend of backgrounds and experiences. Some are from high-reliability industries like nuclear power and aviation. Others have worked in healthcare as nurses, physicians, quality professionals, or administrative leaders. Prior to joining HPI, many of us were responsible for leading safety and reliability culture improvement – making it happen in our own organizations. We all bring experience and expertise in improving human performance in complex systems.
When a client views HPI as a part of their organizational family and not as a consultant, we are humbled and consider it one of the greatest compliments we could ever receive!
HPI has grown continuously since our founding in September 2006. The HPI client community grows through word of mouth and clients that continue to re-engage with us over the years. As we look to the next five years and beyond, we expect continued growth with healthcare organizations engaging HPI to guide them in “first generation” safety and reliability culture improvement as well as organizations taking it to the next level with innovative “second generation” reliability methods.
